	Proceedings in Brief An Apology was tendered on behalf of Clrs Beatty, Jones, Nash and Walker for their absence from the meeting.

ITEM - 4 GENERAL MANAGER'S APPOINTMENT

THAT Council:

1. In accordance with the provisions of s336(1) of the Local Government Act 1993, appoint Bradley John Byrnes as General Manager, Cabonne Council, effective 15 April 2019.

2. Subject to not receiving direction from the Council as to the consideration of any particular matter by the Council itself and subject to the requirements of the Local Government Act 1993 and Regulations thereunder and any express policy of the Council or regulations or any public authority other than the Council and pursuant to the powers conferred on Council by s377 of the Local Government Act 1993, the General Manager, Bradley John Byrnes, be authorised to exercise or perform on behalf of the Council the powers, authorities, duties and functions as follows:

i. The powers, functions and duties of Council other than those specified in s377(1) of the Local Government Act 1993, as being not permissible to delegate.

	ITEM - 5 DEMOLITION ORDER - JUNCTION HOTEL VERANDAH, 40 GASKILL STREET, CANOWINDRA
	Proceedings in Brief Clr Newsom queried if the verandah is being demolished and replaced. She further queried if the Junction Hotel would be closed during the demolition works as there is concern if anything was to fall inside the building. Clr Durkin noted that the verandah would be demolished. The Senior Health and Building Surveyor advised that he has been instructed from the publican that business will be closed during the demolition work.
	Motion (Oldham/Treavors) THAT council carry out works to demolish the double storey verandah of the Junction Hotel, 40 Gaskill Street, being Lot 1 DP 996495, Canowindra, with funds to be allocated from council reserves, and the cost of the demolition works to be recovered from the property owners.
