Clr
Davison provided the committee with a report from the recent Rail Trails for
NSW workshop that he attended in Sydney on 26 August 2014. His recommendation
was that Council continue to investigate the possibility of establishing a
rail trail and continue to gather information and facts in order to make an
informed decision.
Clr Gosper advised the
committee that there is considerable opposition being expressed from
landholders in regards to this matter.
Acting Economic Development
Manager suggested that Clr Davison’s report be provided to CTAC.
