Also present were the General Manager, Director of Environmental Services, Senior Town Planner, Acting Economic Development Manager and the Director of Environmental Services’ Personal Assistant.

	ITEM - 1    APPLICATIONS FOR LEAVE OF ABSENCE
	Proceedings in Brief An apology was tendered on behalf of Clr Treavors.
	Recommendation (Wilcox/Culverson) THAT the apology tendered on behalf of Clr Treavors be accepted and the necessary leave of absence be granted.

	ITEM - 4    DA 2014/0138 NBN TELCOMMUNICATIONS FACILITY ON LOT 4 DP 786104, 32 SPRING GLEN ROAD, SUMMER HILL CREEK
	Proceedings in Brief The Chair called for speakers against the recommendation from the public gallery. There being no speakers against the recommendation, the Chair called for speakers for the recommendation from the public gallery. The time being 2:03pm  the Chair invited Courtney Landsdown to address the committee speaking for the recommendation. As a result of a question from Clr Culverson, Ms Landsdown advised that those people in the area that are not able to be serviced by fixed wireless will be able to be serviced by satellite and the coverage and speed is deemed similar to wireless.  Other technologies such as repeaters is not being implemented through any of the NBN rollout. There being no further speakers from the public gallery, the Chair called for speakers for the motion. Clr Wilcox spoke for the motion. The chair then called for speakers against the motion.  There were no speakers against the motion.
	Motion (Wilcox/Davison) That application DA2014/0138 for NBN Telecommunications Facility (fixed wireless facility) on land described as Lot 4 DP 786104 “Spring Glen” 32 Spring Glen Rd, Summer Hill Creek for Aurecon Pty Ltd be granted consent subject to conditions below.
