Proceedings in Brief

It was noted, the time being 2:21pm Clr Culverson declared an interest in item 4 as the 2013 Dressage with Altitude event was to be held on the property of a client of their business and left the room.

The committee participated in an open discussion regarding the Central West Dressage Group Inc. application. The Acting Economic Development Manager advised the committee that the application did not meet the funding criteria.

Recommendation

THAT the ED & T Committee approve funding for the following project under the Events Assistance Program:

1. Canowindra Sesquicentennial Bushranger Jubilee Celebration – approved level of funding $1330, consisting of $1000 for advertising and $330 for development application fees.

2. 2013 Dressage with Altitude – approved level of funding of $500 with a request to be made for a Cabonne promotional area for the Saturday and Sunday.

It was noted, the time being 2:34pm Clr Culverson rejoined the meeting.

	Proceedings in Brief As as a result of a request from Clr Wilcox, the Promotions and Tourism Officer provided the committee with an update on the Taste Orange event.
	Recommendation (Durkin/Davison) THAT the items be noted.
