	Proceedings in Brief An apology was tendered on behalf of Clrs MacSmith, Durkin and Treavors.
	Recommendation (Culverson/Davison)  (Culverson/Davison) THAT the apologies tendered on behalf of Clrs MacSmith, Durkin and Treavors be accepted and the necessary leave of absence be granted.

	ITEM - 4    EVENTS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM - REQUEST FOR GRANT FUNDING
	Proceedings in Brief The committee participated in an open discussion regarding the Events Assistance Program and allocation of that budget throughout the year.
	Recommendation (Wilcox/Davison) THAT Council approve funding for the following projects under the Events Assistance Program: 1.  Orange Region Vignerons Association for 2013 Orange Wine Week – approved level of funding $3,000.
