	ITEM - 1    APPLICATIONS FOR LEAVE OF ABSENCE
	Proceedings in Brief An apology was tendered on behalf of Clr S Wilcox for her unavoidable absence from the meeting.
	Motion (Culverson/Durkin) THAT the apology tendered by Clr Wilcox be accepted and the necessary leave of absence be granted.

ITEM - 3    DECLARATIONS FOR POLITICAL DONATIONS

There were nil declarations of political donations.

	ITEM - 4    LOCAL GOVERNMENT WEEK COMMITTEE MEETING
	Proceedings in Brief It was noted that the Local Government Week Committee had adjourned and that no recommendations had been formulated for consideration at this stage. The Director of Finance & Corporate Services indicated that as the matter of Local Government Week was properly before the Council, the Council as a whole could determine matters in relation to Local Government Week.
	Motion (Durkin/Culverson) THAT Council adopt the theme of Education & Promotion to support the “yes” vote in relation to Constitutional Recognition for Local Government and widely promote the campaign to “say yes to yes”.

It was noted the time being 3.22pm the Mayor adjourned the Extraordinary Meeting to enable the Local Government Week Committee to reconvene and close their meeting.

It was noted the time being 3.31pm the Mayor reconvened the Ordinary meeting.

	ITEM - 5    2013 LOCAL GOVERNMENT NSW CONFERENCE
	Motion (MacSmith/Durkin) THAT Council put forward motions to the Local Government NSW Annual Conference in relation to the following matters:- 1. The need for profit making State owned Corporations to be classed as rateable. 2. The amalgamation issue and opposing Regional Local Government Centres to the detriment of small towns and villages. 3. The need for the State Government to legislate for Food Security and Sustainability for future generations.
