Proceedings in Brief Committee discussed contributions in regards to fundraising for cancer organisations and felt they could best support this through a donation to Care West Lodge. Committee referred to the request by Margaret Ellis regarding her special needs program and agreed to donate $400 to the program with any unexpended funds from s356 budget should also be contributed. With a further $1000 to be contributed to the Cabonne Life Education Van. |

THAT Council:
1. Donate $1000.00 to Care West Lodge. 2. Make its annual contribution of $660.00 to the Western Region Academy of Sport in the 2012/2013 financial year. 3. Donate $200.00 to the Canowindra Food Basket 4. Donate $400.00 to assist children with special needs at Public Schools in Cabonne. 5. Donate $200.00 to assist Samantha Mills tour South Africa with the NSW Bushrangers Hockey team. 6. Donate $1000.00 to the Cabonne/Orange/Blayney Life Education Scheme. 7. Donate the balance of unexpended funds in the 2012/13 s356 budget for donations to the educational programs being conducted in Cabonne schools by Margaret Ellis.

Councillor Walker advised that the Centrelink Bus will be visiting Canowindra on 7th July at the Health Centre Carpark. Council is invited to have a stall, a HACC stall will also be included. Advised that flyers will be available. |
