Proceedings in Brief The Community Services Manager advised that they are struggling to find volunteers of the month and requested that the award be broadened to citizen of the month to cover a wider range of candidates. The Committee discussed the award with regards to the focus being quality not quantity and the possibility of even stretching the awards to 3 months or as potential candidates arise. The suggestion was also raised that the award be an outstanding citizen award to encompass a better range of deserving candidates incorporating volunteers as well as high achievers in the community. |
